"In September, I will be taking on the National Three Peaks challenge - the highest peak in Scotland, England and Wales in 24 hours. This means walking 23 miles and ascending over 10,000 ft in total. Starting with the biggest, with a group, I will climb Ben Nevis then travel down to the Lake District to tackle Scafell Pike at night, then on to finish with Snowdon. The total walking time is around 14 hours.

I am raising money for Guildford Cathedral, a place and a community that have played a big part in my life. The building is a sanctuary of peace amidst the busyness of life. The people are wonderful - as a volunteer, an employee and a visitor I have been welcomed warmly. It is a place where I have found plenty to laugh about and people to laugh with, somewhere I can go when overwhelmed where I can always find a shoulder to lean on or an ear to listen. I want to give something back. Over the coming months, I will be training hard to meet this challenge head on. Please consider giving a little to the Cathedral in support."
